“Heroes of the AFS”
Heroes are forged in the fires of war, and in this war we need all the heroes we can find. We will be adding a brand new section to our site to honor the brave men and women who are our last line of defense against the Bane menace. Each hero will have their own profile page featuring the following:
Profile (Required)
Name (Last, First)
Class (Tier 4 class - if you aren’t currently T4, enter the class you are aiming for)
Server(s) (Multiple Servers are ok if Last Name is the same)
Clan (Rank & Title optional)
Bio (Short Description / Career Highlights - 100 words max)
Clones can be added as well. Fill out the required information again for each clone.
Sample:
Name: Smith, John
Class: Grenadier
Server(s): Pegasus & Orion
Clan: Omega Squad - Clan Leader
Bio: Veteran warrior and snappy dresser.
Stories
For this contest stories should follow the guidelines set by TR’s “Soul of a Soldier” series.
- Entries must be written in character, and be in first person voice.
- Entries should include a suggested title.
- Entries must take place within the Tabula Rasa universe and spotlight the day to day life of an AFS soldier. You are encouraged to make references to actual in game locations, characters, story arcs, and in game events.
- Entries should be short. 200-300 words is ideal. Entries with more then 500 words can still be added to your profile, but will not be eligible for this contest.
- All entries are subject to screening and editing before being posted on the site.
- Entries must not violate the User Agreement regarding copywrited materials, profanity, etc...
- Multiple entries ARE acceptable and will provide extra chances to win in the random drawing. Only one prize can be won by any individual however, so if you are selected for a prize you will not be eligible for a second prize.
Gallery (Optional)
Original artwork, wallpaper, screenshots, etc can be added but will not be eligible as submissions for this particular contest. All submissions should be in jpg format.
How to Play
All entrants need to submit a profile and at least one story following the guidelines established above to tradmin@stratics.com. Submissions can be written directly in the email or attached as a Text File (txt) or Word Document (doc). You must also include your full name, age, valid email address, and Stratics account name (if you don’t have one yet register here).
North American winners will be required to submit their mailing address to claim their prizes.
International winners will receive their credit prizes in game to the character listed in their profile. If you submit multiple characters you must specify which character you want to claim the prize BEFORE the drawing. If you don’t the selection will be made by TR Stratics.
All submissions must be received before Midnight (12:00 AM CST) on January 19th, 2008.
